Beautiful antique French ring, dating from circa 1850, featuring the craftsmanship and character of 19th-century French jewelry.
The ring is set with natural rubies estimated at approximately 0.80–1.00 ct, stated to be untreated / no heat. Rubies is not accompanied by a gemological certificate.
The ring is further accented with approximately 0.50 ct of rose-cut diamonds, characteristic of jewelry from this period.
The ring is crafted in 18K yellow gold and bears the French Eagle’s Head hallmark, indicating 18K gold.
Overall condition: good. There is a small old repair mark in solder on the side of the mounting, consistent with the age of the piece.
